Hello My Loves,
It’s so good to be back! I can’t even tell you how much I’ve missed writing. Everything is video these days but writing is my outlet and a forgotten or some would say ‘historical’ way of expressing yourself.
Backstory, my path not taken is Journalism, I dreamed every day of being a journalist. I went to a specific sixth form / high school to study English Language, until I was forced to do what I’m doing now. I was dropped from my A-level course and my dream was shattered. One lesson, to learn when you’re not offered a seat at the table. Make your own. Here I am, writing to you with my dream fashion brand, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Now, why did I love journalism? Every single New York City-based Rom-Com. The number one is Devil Wears Prada, but there are so many others, 13 going on 30, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, the list goes on and on. Option 2 was a lawyer, because who wouldn’t want to be Elle Woods? There’s an indescribable feeling that I believe all these movies have at their core. They inspire, love is nice but all the women in these movies worked hard. They had successful careers and always were striving for their dream life. Me to a tea. If you follow my Instagram stories you will know I believe ‘Sundays are for Romcoms’ and I’ve spent the past two years, watching as many as possible. So today I’ve shared my List…
